I found a booth at a local San Jose festival from Deki. The selection was amazing and so reasonably priced. The tapestries were so eye-catching and obviously fine work. The owner and her daughter was there and we had an interesting discussion on the plight of the Tibetans as I bought a beautiful necklace with a compassionate mantra design. I will definitely check out the whole store when I am up in the city.

I stumbled upon this gem of a place and was elated to find the perfect replacement for my husband's lost wedding band. They have very cool yet extremely reasonably priced stainless steel bands, some that are simple and some that have a little bit of detail. Great for a husband who likes to take off his ring and play wtih it (and sometimes lose it). I also found several cool modern bangle bracelets that I liked for myself. You might think at a glance that all of the jewelry is Tibetan Jewelry but they have a wider selection that includes pieces of different styles as well, all very pretty! The wall hangings and tapestries are gorgeous as well. Besides the interesting selection of jewelry and gifts, the sweet owners make the place. You feel like a friend is helping you pick out things - they are too fun.
Pros: interesting selection, reasonable prices, SWEET owners
Cons: none really - castro parking??
