A Decadent Experience. I discovered Pinkies when my daughter was invited to a birthday party there. I saw how they pampered the girls, and wished I had been invited to the party! I do not typically treat myself to a pedicure, but scheduled an appointment before Mother's Day. It was decadent! Pinkies is neat and clean, and the staff is professional! I have been hooked ever since! Each month, I sit back, relax, and enjoy the pedicure experience, and especially like that I have been able to schedule the same woman each time, and that the polish lasts for three weeks! Hats off, Pinkies, to a job well done!
Customer Service Stinks.
The decor is nice, but the service was terrible. Went in at 5:30 pm, and was greeted by a receptionist that instead of saying hello, informed me that I had to pay up front. I said that I wanted a manicure and pedicure deluxe. She then asked me if I wanted a peppermint scrub or citrus. I said citrus.
That was about the extent of her conversation with me. Did not ask me if I wanted coffee, tea, water, ect. I proceeded to get my pedicure and manicure by two different people at the same time. The one who did my manicure could not speak English and cut two of my fingers, so they started bleeding. The one doing my pedicure gave the worst massage I have ever had and rushed the whole thing. Remember that I had asked for a citrus scrub - well, they gave me the peppermint! While all of this was going on, the receptionist was talking to another customer about her personal life. She then noticed that I was having a french manicure, so she came over and said, "You know we charge four dollars extra for that. You will have to stop at the register before you leave and pay the extra."
For $54.00, you can be treated like a queen elsewhere. They need to brush up on their customer service.
