Home of the best Esthetician, hands down.. I've never been much for waxing (I've had some crappy experiences) but my nasty lip hair and furry brows had to go. I tried this place because it's in my neighborhood (Yay Oakland!). Let me tell you, not only was the place inviting and warm but the esthetician (Julia) was fantastic! She was super amazing and it was painless! She also gave me a free consultation for my skin (stupid acne). I went back the next week for a facial and was blown away. She was super attentive and knew exactly what my skin needed. I felt like I'd been transported to some fancy resort. Julia was very knowledgeable about problem skin and this salon offers the Jan Marini skin care line which (if you don't know) is the best on the market. So needless to say, my skin is glowing and I've never been happier with it. Hooray for 17 Jewels!!!
