The Scene
Couples sipping wine and beer are afforded a sense of intimacy and community, whether sitting at tables or counter seats within view of the wide-open, silver-clad kitchen. Windows flanking the door invite neighborhood sunlight and arty photos decorate walls painted to match fresh limes on display. Authentic music can be heard whispering from speakers above the kitchen.
The Food
Organic ingredients further distinguish this cozy place from other Mexican restaurants in the Mission. The toasted pumpkin seeds pack a chile-lime kick, while rich and chunky guacamole complements anything on the focused menu, including lightly fried potato taquitos garnished with diced tomatoes and crumbled white cheese. House-made tortillas hug grilled chicken in slightly under-seasoned enchiladas that are drizzled with a mild verde sauce. Tender carne asada is worth the trip alone, while skirt steak is grilled to perfection and accompanied by plump mushrooms.

After a 30 minute wit, we had high expectations, but we were disappointed by the service, portion size, as well as the prices for the small portions. In the heart of the Mission, this restaurant cannot compete with the Mexican restaurants that are located here.

If you are looking for amazing Mexican you just found it. Drop everything get in the car and go get some food from here. There is nothing more to say than just amazing!!!
