OTIS LOUNGE

Otis was built for people from all walks of life to enjoy and connect.

  • An eclectic mix of events
  • Open until 4am Fri & Sat
  • Happy Hour: Tues - Sat 4p-8p

Otis, an exclusive club on Maiden Lane draws a business crowd and hipsters following alike to the only after-dark spot on this quaint street, just off bustling Union Square. Its vibe is a youngish, hip and good-looking one. There's an eclectic Art Deco-meets-'70s peacock theme; dangling coral; deep red walls, and custom-made chairs and sofas. Its crowd: Lunch and happy hour bring the nearby worker bees, who loosen their ties and kick off pinching heels as the night progresses and an edgier parade of well-dressed, Nylon magazine-reading locals and friends slink into the mix. Stop by Otis' for their Signature drinks and stay for the fun!

Editorial Review for OTIS LOUNGE – by Roxanne Webber

In Short
The once-semi-private club is now open to the public, slinging swank lunches in the afternoons and spinning beats into the wee hours. The intimate dual-level space is decked out with unique elements: peacock feathers, antlers and a mirror-backed snakeskin bar. Brunch on Saturday and Sunday ensures the diverse crowd of Missionites, Pac Heights hotties and everyone in between has a go-to spot for a hangover cure.

User Reviews for OTIS LOUNGE

1 Star Rating: Not Recommended

My co-workers and I stopped in for drinks and found the place really nice. I had high hopes for the place. It all turned sour after ordering a second drink from the "female" bartender. After we finished our first drink she just starred at us as if we were making work for her. Instead of taking care of business she decided look in her mirror and check for lunch in her teeth.

Pros: It's a nice looking place but.....

Cons: Didn't feel welcomed.

Upscale lounge-cum-lunch-spot manages to be somewhat secret despite its prime downtown location.  See the full editorial review.
