Treating customers like peasants.

Me and a friend went to Arsimonas a few weeks ago. We had a terrible experience there. It started after we got in and found a table, sat down and got comfortable. 10 min. later a waitress came by, not to serve us but to move the table to the back. We were unseated and moved to the bar. I began ordering drinks and some Catfish appetizers. When the food came there was a small amount of fries and 2 pieces of fish. I was charged $14.00. This is Oaktown, I wonder if the owner is from Oaktown, has he ever been to a fried fish resturant in Oaktown? Hey dude, if you wanna be successful in the town you betta get with the program! We were soon unseated from the bar as 2 hostile bouncers came and told everyone at the bar they needed to get up so they could move the bar stools to the back because of the crowed that was coming. Well, there was no crowed there and no crowed showed up that night. After being unseated the 2nd time we left.

• Pros: Nice decor with about 25 -42'' flat screen HDTV's
• Cons: Disrepects customers

NOT THE SPOT!!!

I get regular email announcements to come out and enjoy a mature, chic atmosphere with good food and it was anything but that....the food was so-so and over priced, the staff was very slow and nonattentive. The owner was the worst! He was VERY VERY RUDE and refused to listen to my cares and concerns about my food order and the service. He actually told me he would not listen to my concerns. HOW RUDE OF AN OWNER that is in the business of ATTEMPTING to serve the public. This This was my first and VERY LAST visit to this venue. This is not recommended by me for the mature, chic adult looking for a nice social spot. Keep looking because this is not it.

I will be sure to spread the word on my side of town this spot is not the business that wants our business.

• Cons: Overpriced food and drinks, slow and non attentive staff, very rude owners.

Hottest spot in Oakland, I thought I was still in NYC, Great staff and all good looking too

A friend recommended Arsimona for our weekend outing. Man was I impressed. The private elevator, the 50" flat screens everywhere, the tasteful decor and the ambiance. They had it all. The trendy clienteles. The most beautiful women. I'm from NYC, I"ve been to all the top notch parties, Arsimona just brought a bit of that east coast flavor to Oakland. God did we need it. I also hear Thursdays are awesome, will surely check it out. If you like that bump and grind, can't walk or breath lounge, this place is not for you, but if you like that classy, professional looking crowd then Arsimona is your spot
