Worst Consignment Store, bad attitudes, sad customer service - lack of communication.
I agree with the last review. Noreen and Nancy's snotty attitudes are awful. After the second time bringing them $1000+ (they priced it) in high end clothing and shoes, which all sold, it was like pulling teeth to get them to write me a check. I got a whopping $160 check, it wasn't worth my time sorting it out, their gray matter doesn't fire logically. They "lost" a few items I paid over $300 retail (NWT) to consign, which I wasn't compt' for, excuses. A beautiful cashmere sweater was returned with a big hole in it that wasn't there when it was brought in, it wasn't a moth hole, it was damaged by something or someone...more excuses. L'Armoire is a real disapointment. I will not be back to give them my business -money in their pocket they don't deserve. Beware: you'll be ripped off one way or another. Live and learn. Although, if you have junk to sell and don't care, take it to L'Armoire.
If you want real value, real money for you consignments take your high end clothing to Encore in San Rafael. They know their clothing, treat you with respect, and will get you 10x more than L'Armoire sells your quality items for.
Excellent Service. I recently had an unfortunate experience at an online shopping site and consulted with Noreen, the owner. She gave me professional advices and helped me out. She?s a conscientious, trustworthy, frank and very professional person that makes customers feel ease and want to visit the shop again. I think this is why the shop is successful.
Friendly, helpful staff, great designer clothes - new and good as new - don't miss it!. This small very selective consignment store only accepts the creme-de-la-creme of gently used clothing. It's a great place to find that special outfit for a party or other special occasion. The staff is quite knowlegeable and well-travelled and will tell you frankly if that item works for you (or not). You'll find a wonderful collection of unusual, eclectic, and vintage clothing and adorable hats, as well. (The owner was a milliner.) However, L'Armoire focusses for the most part on the classics. A great place to hang out, chat, and get a breather while picking up one or two great additions to your wardrobe.
Used Clothing Store, Lousy Attitudes/Customer Service,YUK!!. Not a good experience here at all! Brought clothes in to sell and treated very shabbily. These gals have an attitude which does not include customer service. Would never return, besides their quality and merchandise is sorely lacking. BIG waste of time!!
