Huge Menu, Wonderful Food, Great Service

This was my first visit. The restaurant is small, but very nice. The menu is huge with many different kinds of sushi as well as other selections. I thought the food was delicious, and my friend, who eats sushi quite a bit, thought so too. We ordered a combination of different dishes and shared. We arrived early on a Saturday night because I read on previous reviews that it can get quite busy. The service was quick and our tea cups were constantly replenished. The salmon, in particular, was my favorite. Everything was perfect. I look forward to going again. I thought our bill was reasonable for such good food.
- Pros: Atmosphere, Parking, Service, Food
- Cons: None

Shinsen is definately one of the good local sushi place I've been. We were there on Sat around 7:00pm and it was almost filled up.
We ordered Seafood Udon, some rolls (Recommend Pacific and berkeley rolls!! they are so yammy), Sashimi and some Nigiris.
The sashimi and nigiris were so fresh and big. The sushi chef was very kind too.
This was my first time trying Udon at shinsen, and it was so good.
Highly recommend Shinsen for fresh and tasty sushi.
- Pros: Very fresh sushi, nice service, good taste
- Cons: Busy on Friday night
