This neighborhood pub in Alameda serves some really good food. We sampled one of their famous pub pies which was tasty and the Ba Ba Burger is delicious. They also have a pretty good selection of beer and wine. The service was also very good, our waitress was always there when we needed her and the busser would magically appear out of thin air to clean away plates and glasses. We had a great time at The New Zealander and will definitely be making a return trip.
Pros: Great Food, Good Service
Cons: No Parking

When we sat down and looked at the menu I had a hard time finding something i wanted to order. So many variations of the same thing it seemed. Ultimately i ordered some sort of lamb. I usually like lamb but this was pretty bland. The service was also not very good . The place wasnt very busy and it still took a long time to get anyone to pay attention to us and for the food to come out.
Pros: The building it is in looks nice.
Cons: Everything else. The food - not good or varied, the service - slow and inattentive
