Bead Inspirations is a Hit!. I've been to almost every bead store in the SF bay area, and Bead Inspirations, located in Alameda is one of my faves. Yes, it is on the small side, however, the store is thoughtfully laid out and very inviting. Staff is friendly, yet they allow you the freedom to browse and familarize yourself with product. When asking for help, staff is personable and knowledgeable.

Stop by this little gem of a store, you be suprised as to what they have to offer.

Also, check out their classes. From basic stringing to Kumihimo braiding. Nice variety.

Wonderful bead store!!. I love this bead store. I went in recently just to browse but found the store to be so attractive and the staff person helping me so friendly and engaging in a respectful way that I wound up buying some supplies for, and becoming newly enthusiastic about, a project that I had been avoiding for awhile. The store is very nicely organized and quite tidy. The displays are at a comfortable level for the eyes and the colors are grouped in an appealing way. The classes are quite interesting and well taught. I have taken 3 classes and found that complex techniques were taught skillfully...explanations were easy to follow and the instructors took interest in the student work. It was a good experience and I look forward to going back!!
