The Scene
This sunny day spa perched high above the busy Financial District is the only California outpost of this national chain. The modern, spare facility consists of a bustling salon with hair and manicure/pedicure stations on one side, with a series of serene treatment rooms hidden behind closed doors. Though the staff can be inattentive (ignoring the reception area, forgetting to lead you to your next treatment), they're extremely friendly.
The Services
A highly skilled staff of massage therapists and estheticians make whichever spa treatment you pick an indulgent experience. The Signature Red Door massage relieves built-up tension, Swedish style, along with bursts of acupuncture and reflexology. Additional standout treatments are the long-lasting Red Door manicure and pedicure, which includes a cream and sugar exfoliation, and the Red Door facial, customized to each client's needs, plus a olive oil lip treatment resulting in ultra-kissable lips.

I love the Red Door Spa. I go on Sundays when it is nice and quiet - it is fantastic. I've been getting my hair cut and colored by Emily and I love it. All my co-workers love my new do and want that same chocolate truffle color that I have. Thuy does the best mani/pedi - well worth goign here versus one of those quick shops. I've never had a mani/pedi like this before. For waxing - Lisa and Natalia have both done right by me!

I've been living in California almost 2 years and have finally found someone who can cut my "freakishly thick" hair - EMILY. She is a great and my hair is really hard to deal with! After I get my haircut, I always get complimented at work and stopped and asked about my hair. You've got to check her out! Also, Deborah gave me a great facial. Again, very thorough and she really knows what she is talking about!
