Plays Hard-To-Find movies.... This theatre is cute and deco and plays a great selection of B movies, and less popular mainstream films. It's where I end up when I really WANT to see a certain movie.

Get there early - I have shown up 20 minutes before a show to find it's sold out on more than one occasion.

Bunk Kabuki. The Kabuki is absolutely the worst theaters in San Francisco, in fact it is the worst theatre I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. The screens are tiny, I rather watch a VHS tape on my 35 in. TV screen.

It's a total let down when you fork over movie money, buy your usual stale goodies to get into the movie mood, only to be seated in a tiny room with a screen a few inches larger than your home TV.

Pop some popcorn, let it sit out for four or five days, plop down in front of your home TV, invite some rude people to talk over the show and you're still one up on the Kabuki.

Avoid the Kabuki like a plague.

ear splitting. The noise level during previews is offensive and doesn't get much better during the showing of the feature presentation. I will not return.!
