Terrible business totally tried/trying to rip me off!

First of all any full service salon I've ever gone to stands by their products and services. This salon simply does not. It first told me I could exchange the poor products I bought then told me I could return but with a 20% restock fee I have never heard of such nonsense! a restocking fee for Shampoo really?

After paying with a certificate which read "hair extension with full service" which translated to me to mean that the hairdresser Michelle would apply them and style my hair. She applied them and gave me a brief cut insisting I should not cut immediately.

She did barely cut but when I repeatedly asked her to take more off the bottom she said I should wait, that I couldn't get the hair back and the hair expands so it would be better to wait...little did I know she meant wait/pay for a whole entire new service. This salon is trying to bilk me and trust me they've picked the wrong person!!! For $800 I supposedly got 40 strips of quality hair and a 15 minutes it took to apply it!!!

Furthermore very little info was given to me about the care of the hair. All she said was don't pull. Unfortunately this is impossible brushing pulls, water pulls. She did not bother to listen or give me any styling tips for my new $800 hair. In short the service and business suck. I wouldn't recommend to an enemy.

My wonderful boyfriend bought be the hair and an additional $400 for future services I will be asking for a full refund for all except the hair which I will have someone else fix. It will likely be Visual Image Salon also in Fremont it is pricey but Joanna there does a fabulous job and she doesn't try to sell me crap she knows I do not need for my hair. Way too pushy. Needless to say I am NOT a fan.

I hate it when someone tries to rip me off. New Image Salon you've made a bad mistake trying to rip me off, give me back my bf's $400 or I'll see you in court!

Super people, fast and efficient!

5star the minute I called up the salon. Stephanie was the receptionist and was very personable.

Funnily enough when we got there, she was outside already, felt like she was waiting for us, hahah.

Anyway, I met the other stylists and they are all very nice and talkative - easy to talk to and get along with. I knew exactly what I wanted and told my stylist, Michelle. She did a good job of it. I was happy. I had my cousin had a cut there too and she also really enjoyed the experience as well.

Everyone there was super nice -- I really recommend this place. They were helpful also in telling my cousin how to take care of her new look and stuff, soooo go go go!

Fremont's Best Salon

I have been going to New Image for about 2 years. Ann is the best. She has recommened changes to my hair care routine and has helped me to transition to a longer hair style.

The salon is peaceful and the staff are so nice. I highly recommend this salon!

i had visted so many salons in bay area.....bt new image salon and spa is d best....i had been dere so many tyms and everytym i got satisfied.........like i had my haircut frm dis salon .......and it's excellent.......moreover,i had gone through d facial and dat was excellent.....nehal did ma facial.....i think dere is sum kinda magic in her hands.....Last bt not least i wanna say dat dis salon is world's best salon in d whole universe

Worst haircut ever

I will never ever go here again!! I have been to this salon three times, and the first two times, I acutally got really nice hair cuts. I went again recently, and the girl that cut my hair was really sweet and nice, but I don't think she knew how to cut hair. She looked really young so I'm guessing she prob doens't have any experience. She spent about 5 minutes cutting and 40 minutes styling. When i left, it was dark and so i thought it looked okay, but when i washed it today, it looks like someone just hacked at it. it is so bad. the bangs aren't even right. so i called them and asked if they could get someone else to fix it, but the guy (owner, i think??) said that if someone else did it, they would charge me for a full haircut. he offered to have the same girl who originally cut it try and fix it. i don't want to let her anywhere near my hair. why would she do a good job this time. I was willing to pay the other stylist a very nice tip...but they wouldn't agree to it. this place sucks....and its never busy. i guess that should be a sign that they aren't very good.
