Great customer service!!!!. So they pretty much gave me a steal of a deal!! although at first there was a bit of miscomunication.. they deffinitly made up for it!

Spa only for now. The Spa is clean and well maintained. Friendly staff and good service overall. The massage, however, is average at best. It appears that they do not have some of the better trained massage therapists to match their very nice spa facilities. Use the spa and skip the massage for now.

Nirvana in Downtown Oakland. Ok. Let me just say, simply, that this place is great! Totally unexpected gem in the middle of Oakland. Really well-made rooms - very clean and stylish. Their website is a really accurate representation of the rooms, though the rooms are actually much larger than they appear. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My boyfriend and I will most definitely be back!

A Truly Magical Place. Zen Springs Spa is a magical place. If you want a romantic, relaxing, warm, inviting place to unwind this is it. The spa is beautiful, the hot tubs are great, the showers are fantistic. The piped in music in every room set the tone, the lighting set the mood, the color are warm and inviting. If you want that special romantic place for you and your partner to escape to. When you think of Zen Springs Spa, clear your mind of any preconceived notions of going to the hot tubs. This place is new, clean, upscale, and beautiful. And there always seems to be open (although metered so bring your quarters) space to park close by. A place I would definitely recommend spending time at.

Very clean, nice rooms, kind of pushy and rude. The place is very clean and pretty rooms. Its relaxing until he blasts how much time is left on the loud speaker. At $60 per hour it would be a shame to see him lose business over $1.50 bottled water. I see I wasnt the only one disappointed he couldnt throw in a bottled water! The massage for me was O.K. and for my wife not so good. When we left he followed us out the door and told us we need to tip her more or she wont come back. He said I called her just for you and if you dont give her more money she may not come back next time. I like cold bottled water in a spa so there wont be a next time.

zen springs. I was very optimistic when I first saw the building it was in but thats where the saying you can't judge a book by it's cover would be perfect. From the outside you would never know that on the inside it is very clean and a friendly atmosphere. I asked for a tour around to check out all the rooms and they where all very clean and each one decorated nice. I do however have my favorite and it is a vip room with a waterfall. I would highly recomend it to someone who is looking to relaxe and unwind or just needs a little self pampering.

I VOTE THIS THE BEST IN THE BAY AREA.. Unlike any "Hot Tub" or Spa you've ever dipped your tense worried body into. FABULOUS Breathtaking Rooms, You must visit this hidden GEM

Call ahead for Appointments, Parking is greatly accessible, Fairly Priced, I wanted to know who there designer is.. So they could design my Dream Bathroom / Sauna area.

Excellent value, romantic setting. On December 1, 2006, my wife and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary together. I was looking for something different, fun and romantic to do this year. I decided to have dinner at Le Cheval (French Vietnamese cuisine) around the corner at 8 (important to make a reservation) and visit Zen at 9. Dinner and drinks at Le Cheval ran $60. This was our first visit to Zen and, we'll be back to celebrate many more anniversaries in the future. Don't let the park with homeless people across the street scare you away - Zen is an Oasis in the middle of Metropolis.

We were greeted by the proprietor at 5 minutes to 9. We reserved the Spring Room ($60/hr). Zen is a classy, private and upscale establishment. A Jacuzzi hot tub was filling and the attached steam room/shower was steaming. Aaahhh...very nice indeed! We stayed 1 hr and left thanking the proprietor for such a relaxing and peaceful place available for us to celebrate our anniversary together. My wife said it was romantic. Special touches in the room included tea lights and a beautiful white orchid.

What a find!!. My boyfriend and I went here last night and were SO impressed. I can't believe it's been around for a year and we didn't know about it...I forgot to suggest that they get better Search Engine Optimization and talk to CitySearch. In my number of searches for places with Sauna/Steam room and massage, this place never came up..I'm so lucky to have stumbled upon it because it is awesome! Really pretty rooms, good service...really just top notch. The whirlpool in the room is filled with fresh water for each client, the steam room (if you choose a room with a steam room in it) is spacious and high quality, and the room itself is very comfortable. It is very well-planned, classy, and relaxing. They provide you with towels and sandals. Bring water and kleenex, though. Also, bring lotion for after your steam so you can retain all that great moisture. I can't wait to go back..this is my new monthly, if not weekly, treat! Check out the website for prices...I think they are very reasonable for what you get, and the photos are quite accurate (although they don't quite show how large the rooms are!)
