Awesome food and friendly service!.
My friend and I went to this place a few weeks ago for a fundraiser in the bar. They have this program called the celebrity bartender where anyone can sign up to be the bartender and the restaurant will give all of the profits from the bar to the charity of the bartender's choice. The chef put out some great hors d'oeuvres and even though it was crowded, they were able to get us a table. We had an outstanding dinner! All of the appetizers looked really great but we had already eaten some at the bar so we didn't have room. My friend is a vegetarian so she had this dish of grilled eggplant with roasted tomato and asparagus over polenta which was really yummy. I had the braised lamb shank with greens ( I asked them for mashed potatoes too) and it was so tender that it melted in my mouth. We split a dessert of chocolate mousse which was very large but very decadant.
The wine list was good but I would have liked to see more $40 range choices. We ended up ordering by the glass, which wasn't bad.
The service was very friendly and efficient. Our server arranged for us to see their banquet room because we heard it was nice and we like to know about available spaces for parties.
I really recommend going here but I would get a reservation. We were lucky that they could seat us because we were only 2 people but I did see some larger parties turned away.
We will definitely be back soon!
