This restaurant is Closed. They have another location in Berkeley (2160 University) and you MUST try the Parantha there.

Best kept secret.
Fantastic food and service - this is our favorite Indian restaurant in the area. I've never seen this place crowded, maybe because it is a little tricky to find (it's not right on Mt. Diablo). The menu is really extensive - we love the appetizers and traditional main courses. I only wish they had a license to server beer/wine.

best deal for variety in Lafayette, CA.
luncheon buffet for $9.95 is a very good deal given the variety. sargam in walnut creek is probably a little better food, but given the proximity...this is a very good recommendation.

India Palace is a gold mine. Once you try their food you will be a regular..
I love this place. Every dish I have tried has been very favorable and delicious. This restaurant has been around a while, but still not "discovered" like I think it should be. I am afraid that if business continues to be slow, they will close down. I hope that never happens. My husband and I like their food so much that we went there on our 24th wedding anniversary, which we celebrated in 2008.
