This place has a wide variety of unusual, hard to find tropical fish, and really top quality fishkeeping equipment. These features make this a great place to go if you're an experienced aquarist and have or want to set up a nice tank. However, they make it a poor choice for beginners--I went there to set up my first fish tank and felt the staff tried to sell me a Cadillac when all I needed was a Honda. The staff are very knowledgeable about fish, but not very patient with dumb beginners' questions. If you know what you're doing or just appreciate top-notch gear for your hobby, this is probably a great store for you. If you're starting out keeping fish, go somewhere else.

Owner is brusque, abrupt, seems wildly reluctant to give information. The tanks are haphazardly labeled, most fish are, in fact, not labeled. The selection of fish is interesting--you won't find any platys but you'll find plenty of rarities. If you know a lot about the hobby you'll probably be fine, but if you don't you'll be treated like an idiot.
Pros: nice fish
