Tips for A Diva's Closet

My Best Kept "Secret". It's hard to give up this secret, but, this "Little Downtown" boutique on 17th Street in Oakland is the best thing Oak-town has going for it! I mean it, yes, run, don't walk, to A Diva's Closet.

You and your BFF's need to see what is hiding in this tucked away boutique. I find it shocking that anyone could say this is a place full of "overpriced junk". No way! I never fail to find at least one or two truly unique pieces among the dozens of different emerging designers that are showcased at this boutique. And, I never spend a fortune.

In fact, I snagged the hottest strapless mini dress for NYE, and got it for only $28! I turned ever head at the party that night and got dozens of compliments on that darling champagne color mini gown with a jeweled bodice. I also got accessories, and still only spent $35! I also grabbed a to die for silk ruffle front blouse and a necklace for about $29.

So, I am letting this great secret out of the bag, girls, have no fear, you will find something very cool every time you shop here. 20% on everything!

More Like "A Diva's Hole in the Wall". Looks good on the outside, but overpriced junk in the inside. I too thought Diva's Closet was a nice find. But the price vs. quality is not worth wasting your time trying to find parking in downtown Oakland. To make "Diva's Hole in the Wall", is their terrible "fabulous" customer service. I will not support this store ever again and I would strongly suggest that you go to the dollar store to find the exact same thing for a buck without having to for overpriced inventory, that is made cheap and then bad customer service on top of all that. I own my own company and I tell my employee's that the sale is not over once the purchase is made, it continues and when a customer brings attention to defective or cheap product it is the employee's job to ensure complete customer satisfaction. I give "A Diva's Hole in the Wall" one to two years before they shut have to go out of business. FYI, manager on duty today, I would not waste my gas coming down to tell you that you are rude and have no professionalism whatsoever to called a manager on duty.
