Best gelato I've had since Italy. This place is awesome for gelato on the go. On my way home from work I always stop in to try something new. So far the Blackberry Cabernet Sorbetto is my favorite, followed closely by the Blo od Orange Sorbetto. The Sharffen Berger chocolate gelato is my favorite, but if you get a small cup, try pairing the blueberry gelato with the Fromage Blanc. It is so good, and the service is first rate as long as you don't do the tourist thing and crowd the front of the case asking for sample after sample. It also helps to actually read the labels in the case by the flavors to save time and headaches while ordering. Great place!

Yummy gelato!. The gelato here is delicious and the nice thing is you can get two flavors even if you are just getting a small size.

Yummy gelato at a great location. If you go to the Ferry Plaza on the weekend to check out farmers market, then you must stop by this place to grab something sweet. Staffs are friendly and great gelatos!

This popular storefront gelateria sweetens the Ferry Building's offerings.. In Short
Locals and tourists alike line up for more than 20 rotating flavors of creamy, velvety gelato. Flavors include everything from the expected, like strawberry and chocolate, to the more obscure, like banana paprika and coconut with sweet corn. There's no seating, so customers take their treats to go. Samples are given freely and generously, and sodas and bottled water are also available.

U gotta try it. I love this little place. It's always packed (especially on Saturday market days) but the gelato is delicious and worth the price. My favorite is the blueberry, but they have plenty of other choices for gelatos and sorbets. The service is always friendly; give it a try!

GOOD BUT PRICEY. Whether you like gelato or sorbetto you will find something here to like (I like the blackberry cabernet sorbetto and the coconut gelato to name a few). This stuff is pricey so be prepared and don't go into sticker shock. That said Tango Gelato another local is actually a little better but Ciao Bella does have pre-packaged pints to take home and they are in some markets as well.
