Extremely slow service.
Made a reservation for 10 for a special occasion. There were oy 2 servers on and there were only 24 other people dining. For a simple dinner we waited over 1 hour after we were sat for the waiter to take our orders. Once we did this we could NOT get a second round of drinks for a long time as well. Neat atmosphere, just plain incompetance and total lack of multi tasking ability. The food was satisfactory.

Great Downtown Pleasanton Location.
My first time eating at Baci Restaurant was also the first time I had ever tried a Kobe beef burger. Honestly, it was a very good burger, similar in quality to that of the burger I've had at Harris Ranch, but I couldn't taste any distinctiveness in it being "Kobe" beef. DH had the cioppino, which was excellent but just quite a small portion for a $25 entree...we thought it was pretty overpriced.
The much-talked about "fruit water" was nice, although it smelled better than it tasted (yes, it tasted good but I didn't think it was all THAT). The sourdough bread was not very good and for some reason, they didn't even bring butter with it, which would have made it a little better. I've had enough carbs lately (actually, more than enough!) so I just didn't eat any and that was fine with me.

stay away!!!.
what a shame...another pleasanton restaurant that was once so good ......had dinner last night and
what a joke....undercooked food ...oblivious waiter....just another reason to stick with your gut and
stay with what works....go up the street to Fontina where the food is consistently great and the service
is outstanding..a restaurant that cares.

Yum yum Italiano!.
Fantastic italian food!
All the pasta, seafood, and meats are great.
Always consistent, great flavor, romantic for dates, great for groups, and never too noisy.
It's a bit on the "upscale" pricing, but well worth the money every now and again.
Their place on Hopyard Road, Pleasanton is also excellent, I recommend the ravioli, and it's a bit cheaper there!
