Great Ambience, Amazing Food, Fast Service. Angela's Restaurant in Marina Village, Alameda Calafornia.

The atmosphere and the ambience of Angela's is unique. Proper lighting, soft tones, beautiful paintings, nice music. Confortable, romantic, relaxing, a place to enjoy home cooking and great wines.

A not-so-well-kept secret anymore. Who would believe that cuisine of this quality could be served from a restaurant tucked in next to a big grocery store? Chef Saboor Zafari oversees a talented kitchen staff who turn out a consistently delicious, fresh, continental menu with mediteranian essence. Standouts: lamb chops, interesting salads, seafood specials, huge deserts. The affordable wine list emphasizes local wines and is well matched to the food choices. Some of the sauces are very salty and groaningly rich -- they seem to be in the classic French style -- yet we order them again and again because they taste SO GOOD. Mustapha and the waitstaff provide excellent service and make us feel at home.
