Best pizza in Uptown!. I give Amazona's Pizza 5 stars because the pizza is excellent especially by the slice (my personal favorite). Although, I ordered large pizzas for family and social gatherings. The service is quick and orders are accurate at the good price!

The owner and the employees are friendly and the place is clean.

What a tasty pizza..... I am a pizza lover. I eat at gourmet pizza places regularly such as North Beach Pizza in SF, Zachary's in Berkeley, Mary's Pizza Shack in Walnut Creek and others....

Amazonas? pizza definitely, "Hits the spot...," every time I eat there. I usually eat in once every 3 months because I live far - 25 miles away, but it?s definitely worth the drive for a tasty pizza.

I have to agree with some of the postings on this page?the pizzas are very well prepared with fresh and good quality ingredients. The thin crust tastes like delicious bread sticks...yyuummmiiii!

Oh Ya the most, best, crazy good pizza!!!!. We have been getting Pizza from Amazonas Pizza for the last 4 years, they make this incredible crust with olive oil, hand tossed thin and crispy!!! yum!!! The calzone's are another favorite they make all the sauces from scratch. If you order a salad be prepared you get a lot for your money. oh ya the rice pudding is soooooo goooood!!!

Pizza is great but hours need to be listed on City Search. We called on a Sunday, no answer, guess they are closed.. pizza is great but no hours are listed. we called on a Sunday night and there was no answer. would have been nice to know the hours of operation. Please list them on City Search.

Oakland Amazona's!!!. Amazona's Pizza, on 2427 Telegraph, is in Oakland (94612) not Berkeley! I know because it is my husband's and my absolute favorite pizza joint. The owners are just as warm as the delicious pesto crusts, and remember their customers--even if you never eat in the restaurant because you're too tired from a long day of work! Tonight, we called up and ordered our latest favorite: Fufuxo. We don't know what it means in Portuguese, but we know it makes our tastebuds happy...

Unusual, but very good pizza. Amazonas uses a crust with some corn in it that makes for a very flavorful pizza. I haven't tried all of their pizzas but I can recommend their pepperoni and garlic pizza.

The owners are Brazilian and I've found that the pizza is similar to what you'll get from North Beach Pizza in the City.

Recommended, try the garlic/pepperoni combo!

best pizza around!. Not only are these folks friendly, their pizza and salad for delivery has been the best I've ever tasted.

We had the Lua with pesto and green olives. Great flavor, fruity olive oil and great texture of pizza crust for delivery I've tasted in years. Their salads were chock full of great ingredients. Crisp romaine lettuce, pepperoncini's, black olive and other goodies that you just don't get with a pizza delivery pizzaria. AND they were kind, efficient and friendly! I now have a favorite pizza delivery restaurant in Oakland that is to be honest, littered with substandard pizzarias who's idea is to rip you off. Cheers to Amazonas! Weee!

Not our favorite. My wife and I had a pizza delivered from here and were not impressed. The pizza had way too much sauce and not enough cheese. If this is something you like about your pizza than give it a whirl, otherwise, we would recommend you look elsewhere.

Fabulous pizza and more. A very friendly staff provides amazing pizza, and various other treats, from standard pizzeria fare to Brazilian cattitos, desserts, and even Tully's coffee, all for incredibly low prices. A very tranquil, casual vibe with a window looking out on the randomness of Telegraph Ave. These people really deserve your business.
