Editorial Review for Mercy Wine Bar – by Holly Hickman
In Short
Mercy is a refuge, a cocoon, a romantic, cozy place to relax and sip. Wrought-iron staircases frame floaty drapes, which cordon off various rooms. Candles glow along the marble bar and lavender couches provide a comfy retreat. Mercy offers more than 150 bottles, but this place isn't just about wine. Mercy serves small portions of delectable food: grilled figs, oysters on the half shell, cheese samplers and panna cotta all complement the wine.

Mercy Wine Bar makes an ordinary night out extraordinary. A chic urban spot that delivers the comfort of your best friend’s home with a staff that makes your evening special. A wine list that is so expansive you can travel anywhere in the world if only for a few hours. The menu is flexible so you can enjoy a few appetizers or just dessert matched with the perfect wine or a full dinner selecting just the right wine for each course. It will be your favorite night spot.
Pros: Great Music

Just like my predecessor said. Looks nice on outside, but EXTREMELY overpriced on the inside. The appetizers were hot and fresh. Ordered the mussels, bruchette and fries. Then got a 52.00 bottle of Conundrum I could've gotten at costco for 20.99. I would not pay 140.00 for a bottle of Silver oaks nor 40 for la crema. The service was average but if you're putting utility maximization on an X to Y linear graph, my experience was not plottable. N/A
Pros: Fries, lounge chairs
Cons: $$$$ for wine. Save money and goto a vineyard in grapevine
