Bad Coffee and Bad Service. i don't know what the deal with this place is. don't get me wrong, the hummus is excellent. however, the service and their coffee/espresso drinks are horrible.

the two people i've encounted behind the counter are not friendly at all! last time i was there, the older short guy that was working kicked out an elderly customer for being there too long (about 1.5 hours) and not buying enough. i know camping out can be a problem at cafes, but telling someone "you need to go" isn't the way to do it.

regarding the drinks, the coffee tastes watered down and the espresso in the lattes and caps taste like they're pulling long shots (lots of water, no crema).

overall, i don't recommend unless you're getting hummus to go.

Bad attitude. Strongly disrecommend this place. First impressions suggest this is a friendly neighborhood kind of joint, but on returning a stale croissant, got called 'coc------r' by the barista, then told to 'get the f--k out' (use your imagination :-). I spoke to the manager about it the following week, and he basically didn't care.

So, if you like fresh baked goods, or prefer your latte without the insults, AVOID.
