High Quality. This is one of the better Berkeley sushi places. Very fresh ingredients and a huge variety of sushi rolls. As some others have noted, they do tend to charge extra for extras but it's easy to avoid such things. Friendly staff and good location.

Pretty good food, stingy owners.. The Bad: These are the most Jewish Koreans I've ever seen. You want extra sriracha or X sauce they charge you. They are so stingy. I'm spending $15 a pop at your restaurant and you're gonna charge me extra for a side of sauce??????

The Good: Most of the rolls are pretty good. Not amazing, but I don't think anyone would be unsatisfied. In fact there are a few that are quite addicting. I really like the Baja Roll.

Best, cheapest sushi in Berkeley. I finally found the best sushi place is Berkeley! They offer dozens of rolls, including a good selection of vegetarian choices and tasty appetizers. Not only is the food delicious but Tako is SUPER cheap so you get very full with a date and pay around only $20! It's located on Telegraph so it has a casual atmosphere and is good for little groups. They also have a little card you can get stamped whenever you spend five dollars...you eventually get money back to spend on more food. The only downsides are that the tables are close together so it's probably not the best place to go if you want to have a private conversation and it can get smoky throughout the whole restaurant when something burns in the kitchen, though that doesn't happen much. Tako is the best!
