We told them that it was our first time in their restaurant & they recommended their special appetizer Chicken cream puff. We also ordered Pad Thai, Beef Sizzling Plate, Eggplant with seafood combination and steam rice. They came back and inform us that their cream puff was sold out so we decided to opt out the appetizer. Then came the Pad thai & steam rice. We finished eating the Pad Thai. After awhile of waiting, a waitress came and told us that they have to redo our orders because they made it more spicier that what we requested. We waited longer that our rice is already cold. When the sizzling beef came, the beef portions itself are too small. We are almost finish with the plate and we realized that the last order is still out there being cook? We waited again and still no eggplant with seafood combination. We finally asked and found out that they had forgotten our last order. When we cancelled the last order, they were so fast in providing us with the bill with a little bit of an attitude. Their restroom is not equipped for person with disability nor changing diapers for babies. I would not recommend the place to others unless the management made an overhaul change.
Consistently good food. This place is right near my house so I've often come here when I didn't want to cook or needed a to grab something late at night. Out of the two-dozen or so times I've eaten here, only once was it sub-par (take-out was cold and small portioned). You can almost always get a table here, the food is tasty, they're open late, they can accomodate large groups, and the decor is fun. It's my favorite any-night-of-the-week restaurant.
Ok place. I've been to Tuk-Tuk several times now; each times I had hope my experience would be better, but it didn't. The food here is avg. and a bit expensive compared to other Thai restaurants near by. The ambiance is nice with a real tuk-tuk on display. Space was able for patrons using wheelchair.
yum yum food. i've eaten here twice, evenings, and been very impressed with the speed and attentiveness of the service and the stunning freshness and tastiness of the food. It's noisy in the restaurant, but the atmosphere is attractive and the prices are an excellent value.
Disappointing thai food. Me and my friend visited this place for lunch one day- it took about 30-40 minutes for our food to come- the waitresses were unusually busy on the phone taking orders and preparing ppl's orders for pick-up... so the service was definitely below our standards. Then our food came and it was a smaller portion that other thai places that we had visited and most of all it lacked authentic FLAVOR. We had the sauteed chicken with cashew nuts and spring rolls. I don't know what ppl are thinking when they eat here but Hua Hin up the street is 10x better than this place.
