Great Job!. I decided to write this review for my sister, who brings her dog here all the time. Every time we come to pick Missy up she's not only clean, but she's also happy. Her tail is wagging all over the place. Anyone can wash a dog, but someone who can groom a dog and the dog leave happy is doing a great job in my eyes.

Absolutely wonderful experience. I took all three of my cats in to get bathed. Alfonso is a wonderful person who truly loves animals. {He has some amazing animals of his own!} His facility is great. I was very touched at how kind and gentle he was with my cats. He uses great quality natural products. He is a genuinely kind person, and he is very helpful with information. I really think he went above and beyond. He is also very fairly priced. I am very glad I found out about him. Your pets will be pampered. He is not in it just for the money like other places can be. His place is also in a very nice location- Old Oakland.

Best Pet Grooming!. I love the care and attention Alfonso gives to each paw that steps foot into his shop! My mom brings her pups here everytime she comes to visit, and when we come to pick them up they are on display for the passer bys to see in the cute front window! It's great to see the neighborhood he is in getting revitalized too- with cool neighboring shops, and restaurants!

Excellent Groomer for Bunnies that have a hard time grooming themselves as they get older. I've never brought my bunny to a groomer before but since she is older (6 years old) she has a hard time keeping herself clean. I tried to give her baths myself but she kept getting build up in her matted fur that made it hard for me to remove. When I tried to cut it myself, I'd cut her and I thought that a professional would be better to do the job right and safely. What did I do?

I brought my mini-lop bunny to Alfonso at Broadway Grooming Clinic in Oakland. The parking was a bit of a challenge though. He did a great job cleaning her up and making her look pretty. He knew what he was doing and in the end I got a clean, fluffy bunnie to take home. He understands that bunnies are sensitive creatures and sets time aside to give them special attention. I will bring my bunnie back again for future services.

Absolutely the Best Groomer Around!!!!. After a few so-so experiences with other groomers around town, I was thrilled to find Alfonso. He always goes out of his way to provide excellent service that is second to none. He has accomodated us at the last minute and has always been very fair, price wise. He truly is an animal lover and he personally handles our dog with great care and attention to detail. There's another place in town that is well known and a few dollars less expensive and what I got there was a week wait, a zombie-like groomer and indifference towards our dog. Another place was twice the price with a guy sitting at a desk and five laborers actually doing the work. No thanks!!... Alfonso loves his work and treats our dog as well as we do. He has really become a part of the family. Once you experience his personal approach, you will realize how lucky we are to have a groomer of his caliber available in our area.

Best pet grooming anywhere. Alphonse, the gentleman who owns and operates Broadway Grooming Clinic, is OUTSTANDING! He gives excellent customer service, is always prompt, and works with whatever schedule you need. And my cat ADORES him! She now looks forward to her "spa day with Alphonse" because she knows how well she'll get treated there, and she'll come home looking fantastic. I completely trust him, and would recommend him to everyone in the Bay Area. He has an incredible way with animals, and really loves them, and it shows.

Outstanding results with a personal touch. Alfonso has groomed my Persian cat many times, and, without fail, his results where terrific. Whether it was a wash and brush or a cut, I've always noticed he's a notch above some other places in the area I've tried and regretted. I've referred him to some friends with poodles and, again, great reports. He's also got a way with our furry friends that is remarkable, my cat doesn't freak out going to get groomed anymore (!).

Dog-loving Groomer. Alfonso is the best. He not only grooms dogs but he allows them to be dogs. As a dog lover, I want my dogs to feel safe and secure when they go to the groomers and Alfonso accomplishes it! I love the dog friendly atmosphere and how they all just hang out. Great with our fussy little dog. We have taken our evil tempered rescue shis tzu to Alfonso for the past three years +. The dog, who is great with us but hates strangers, gets along find with Alfonsos and always looks great after a grooming. I was surprised that the other reviewer paid $75; we have always paid $40 for bath and trim, and on two occasions, when the trim was minor, paid less. The owners dogs are big, but they are good tempered and calm.

Could have better prices or improved grooming. as nice as the owner is, the grooming is way over priced for the quality of work. Often, it costs 75 dollars for a shoddy shave on the pup--i wouldn't mind if it was 45-50, but for 75 it should be even, clean shaven and perfect! Plus, there are huge dogs that are owned by the owner that make it difficult to get in AND they drink out of the water coolers that (if you don't pay attention or the owner forgets to tell you) are used by customers.
