I had a dreadful situation with Time-Warner. This company should be investigated for its abuse of customers. They extorted equipment fees from me when in fact I returned them. However, life is real. They sent my account to collection at the CBA-Hayward Office. Basically I had to pay the fee if I wanted to clear my nearly perfect FICO score. I worked with Louis. Even though I did not feel I owed the debt, I just wanted to have my credit back. They worked with me and got my nearly perfect credit score back. It did not happen overnight, but hopefully soon. Louis even faxed me a letter to use if I was applying for credit anywhere. While I feel Time-Warner are crooks. I feels CBA at least walked me through the steps to achieve my goal. Thus I feel I was treated fairly by CBA. They were very legit and professional with me. Thanks Louis

This company is totally legit. I have done IT work for them. If you don't owe the bill all you have to do is say so. CBA sometimes gets bad info from clients. CBA will contact Time Warner, or anyone else they work for, and confirm one way or another. If you truly don't owe the bill they will confirm that fact and any information reported to the credit reporting agencies will also be removed. It's that simple. No need to sue or hide. While there are many shady collection agencies out there, CBA is not one of them. I don't know how these peaple can claim it is a scam. If you had a bad experience, that is one thing. But a scam? They certainly don't know what they are talking about.

My advice keep a record of phone calls, conversations and any possible abuses by their representative. This company makes money on ill-advised individuals. i am being harassed over a paid Time Warner Bill.The only way to stop these crooks is to sue them! The law is on a side of the debtors when abused by creditors!

fake charges on my credit report. they placed fake charges from time warner cable. do not pay them. just dispute with experian

This is a Scam!. They called me and told me I owed money and if I payed it right now they would give me a deal and it would be lifted from my credit report. I payed them and later f ound out that it was a complete scam! Don't give them any money!

scam, fraud. This company is a scam and not really a collection agency. I received a call from them saying I owed money to Time Warner Cable that had to be paid in 5 days and that I could pay it immediately over the phone, at which point I just hung up. I called Time Warner later and verified that I did not owe any money. If you receive a phone call from this company, just hang up and ignore them because they are frauds.
