Editorial Review for Huf – by Carolyn Alburger
In Short
Named after its owner, professional skater Keith Hufnagel, this street-savvy boutique vends fashionably functional "high end" footwear, including retro sneakers and skater-inspired apparel. Funky beats provide a background soundtrack for skater types and fashionistas perusing an eclectic mix of sneaks and shoes from brands like Adidas, New Balance, Vans and Alife. The shop stocks unusual colors and hard-to-find models for those looking to impress with stylish kicks.

Insider Tips
The ExtrasHuf sells at least one limited edition shoe each year. Teenagers normally camp out overnight to score a pair. Check the website for availability and go early for first dibs.

You know that you are heaing for shoes when you are heading to HUF. Limited release NIke's are probably what you would most recognize this store for. Nike releases limited shoes from time to time and HUF is one of the stores that will definitely get them. You definitely notice that line that forms outside of the door a couple of days before the shoe is scheduled to release. Kids in the shoe game are hardcore (some say stupid) and will spend the night in the cold or rainy San Francisco weather to buy a pair of limited SB shoes. Besides shoes, HUF has a clothing store that sells clothing such as Stussy, F-ing Awesome, The Hundreds and their store brand. The clothing is sometimes called "streetwear" and is limited quantity harder to find clothes for people in the skate/hip-hop/niketalk shoe head scene. I personally like their New Era fitted hats the most. They are simple but come in multiple color combinations that are just fresh.
Pros: Nice clothes and hard to find shoes

This shop makes all the sneaker headz go nutz!!! A clean look, rare sneakers and ridiculous amounts of style make this spot one of my faves to shop at. Tons of hard to get clothing and shoes from Supreme, Alife, Nike, Adidas, New Balance, and Dill make this the place to shop at when looking for something that no ones going to be wearing.
Pros: Best sneaker styles, Helpful staff, Simple shop design
Cons: Somewhat pricey
