Skip it!. This restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. Beginning with the service -- it is awful! We waited and waited for water, then for a refill of coffee. This happened through out our meal. It did not look like the waiter really cared we were there. We could barely get anyone's attention.

Then the food came -- the crab cakes were burnt, the special was buried with sauce as if though they were hiding the flavor of pooly cooked fish, and the grilled fish looked like it was more broiled than grilled, making it taste dry and overdone. The waiter was put-out by our observations.

This is certainly not a place where you want to enjoy the view and food. You will find yourself arguing for service rather than enjoying a nice meal at Jack London Square.

A family-run affair with friendly service and great food. The veal T-bone steak is a treat! Good wine list.. I am a regular and I would reccomend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys a non-trendy, friendly place to dine. The menu is varied, but the fish selection is somewhat limited. The food is well prepared and the waiters are charmng. The service does take a few hits when things get very busy on Friday and Saturday evenings. Overall, I am giving this one a 9. Bon appetit mes amis!
