perfect for a working lunch (free wireless) or coffee with friends!. I come here at least twice a week, and often more like five times a week, and never get tired of the food or atmosphere. Everyone is so nice and the quality of food and beverages exceed any other cafe I have found. I love the tuna panini but everything is good. The service is friendly and there is a different artist's work everymonth! They just opened a second location at 1918 Park Blvd, which I actually like more than the Piedmont location, although the quality is the same. I like that there is outdoor seating where you can enjoy the sun and bring your dog!

Opened in 2001, Rooz quickly established itself as a popular gathering spot in the Piedmont area. The casual cafe, decorated with works by local artists, serves such items as grilled English muffins and steamed eggs for breakfast, as well as healthy salads and warm focaccia sandwiches for lunch and dinner. The sidewalk tables make this place an especially attractive destination for chilled coffee drinks on warm summer days and early evenings.
