Best Indian Buffet. I liked this place. I really LOVE Madras indian cusine in San Ramon, but now that we live in concord we visit Namaste on the weeked for their indian buffet for dinner! Its kind of pricy...around $13 per person, but there are a lot of choices for dinner and they change them every time!! Well worth a visit....different indian food...not so much North india but still great! I love their Chicken Pakoras (chili chicken) their Rasam soup is my boyfriends fav. and also their Chicken Majaraja is a sure pleaser! Dont forget the Mango ice cream! All in all I give them about an 8. They should send out coupons or something for the buffet...like I said a lot of money....but you wont go hungry!

Indian Food Nirvana. I've gone to Namaste several times with my friends and the food is delicious. I highly reccommend the Chicken 65 and Chicken Tikka Masala. Creamy, served to taste, and yummy. They also have a great lunch and dinner buffet that offers a variety of veg and non veg dishes. This is great for when you are new to Indian Food like some of my friends or when you just can't decide like me. The owner and chefs always answer questions if you have any and overall this is a great find especially when Indian restaurants are evrywhere. I always enjoy the experience and my friends thank me for the great find.

Excellent buffet!!!. We have been going to Namaste for a year and a half.

Even though it takes 30-40 minutes to get there; it's worth

the trip. (There's a very decent independent used book store

next door...Bay Books)

The buffet is $5.99 weekdays and $7.99 weekends.

They have 3-5 veggie choices, 3-4 meat choices, soup,

salad, papadam and naan, and 2 kinds of rice. Unlike

other Indian buffets they constantly replenish the

food so it is always hot and fresh. Staff is very friendly

and even though Namaste is in a strip mall (near Ross)

it feels very comfortable despite Denney's type booths

The food is mild to medium which may be a drawback

to some folks but it is "just right" for my family and the

scores of other regulars.
