Good soups and sandwiches. This is a nice family own and operated place to go to lunch on the northside of Berkeley. Grandpa fills the soup, mom's tending the cash register (you get the picture). You sandwiches are made to order, and the soups change on a daily basis. It's clean and comfortable, the and the prices are reasonable ($5.00 sandwiches and $2.00 for soup). If you're in by the Cal campus and looking for a quick lunch, this place is highly recommened. Not as good in terms of quantity, quality and price as Cafe Intermezzo on the southside though.
