NOT INDIAN FOOD!!!
by Accident Prone , Citysearch Contributor
This place is sort of fancy comfort food. I have tried the chicken pot-pie, the seafood serenade (prawns and calamari with buckwheat noodles and a spicy sauce), and the fontina grilled cheese. All were pretty good. I'd say the seafood serenade was excellent.
As the name suggests, everything has a lot of spice to it...which I like...
The atmosphere is pretty cute, but it isn't that great on a cold night - I don't think they have heating.
Go on Tuesdays for the half-price wine bottle special!
- Pros: Affordable, fancy comfort food, 1/2 price wine on Tuesdays
- Cons: No heat, quirky servers...
Left a lot to be desired

Walking into the place, it was very cold and lacking of that wonderful curry aroma. We orded quickly and the food was brought out in a normal length of time, however, nothing tasted quite right. The chicken tiki marsala was REALLY sweet and the Baigan Bharta had no flavor at all. Even the naan and rice were a little off. Maybe we caught them on a bad day, but we were unimpressed
- Pros: No wait
- Cons: Food
good lunch buffet
by wwisefoole
Went there for dinner last nite. the food was well prepared, tasty, spiced thoughtfully. good indian food is not easy to find. there are few very good indian restaurants and many mediocre ones.whats best about this place is their lunch buffet. very well done.costs about 8.95 ,which will always seem pricey to me(i come from the days of the 4.95/all you can eat mind set). the dinner menu ,of course is pricier.the full dinner at about $ 13-14,gave us a tasty ,well prepared dinner.service was so-so. I'll stick with the lunch buffet.
