How many times has this happened to you? You've been drinking and dancing at a SOMA club for a few hours, and then you realize, you're starving! Unfortunately, all the really good restaurants are closed and your only options are donut shops, pizzerias, burrito holes or burger joints. Fortunately Dulcinea's visionary owner and chef, Georgia Gross, figured out that it might be a good idea to open a hip and healthy restaurant which stays open til 1 am. Their menu changes each week with items like salad w/ "celery, celery root, radicchio, stilton cheese, toasted hazelnuts, and Sparrow Lane apple cider-shallot vinaigrette $6.95" or "risotto w/ sauteed beets and yellow chanterelles $8.95" It's nice to know you can have it all!
Pros: delicious food, reasonably priced, wonderful staff
Cons: ???

A lot of people know this as 'The place next to the DNA Lounge' - clearly a lot of the DNA's alternative atmosphere has is felt next door as the food, Decor and clientelle all stand out from the crowd. People who like familiar places probably wont' dig this eaterie, the place feels dynamic - the art and menu change regularly so if you tell your friends about the fantastic dish you had there , and they are all fantastic, then there's no guarantee it will still be served the next time you're there. Everything I've had has been great, and the portions are athe perfect size, I can clear my plate without feeling stuffed. But some people may find the portions too small for them.....
Pros: Interesting Food, Alternative Atmospher, Open Late
Cons: Portions not big., Small Tables
