Food is consistently good. I have eaten there for lunch several times. Menu is a bit pricey but the food supports the price.. The service has always been prompt and polite.

The food is fairly straight forward and done well. I haven?t had anything from the menu I felt was off the mark. If you are looking for Italian food done well in Pleasant Hill this is a good choice.

Quaint pasta place in the downtown area. Not much choice of pasta in the downtown area especially if you're just walking from the movie theatre. But then again, the pasta there is a bit better than average (and a lot better than what I remember from my last meal there more than a year ago).

The cream sauce pastas are good. The free bread (focaccia if I'm not mistaken) and olive oil pesto dip is a good start to the meal. There is also a wine selection if you have time to lounge around a bit. They have both an outside area that's pleasant for summers like this and still is quite comfortable on chilly nights because of the overhead heaters scattered around area.

The ambiance inside the restaurant is pleasant. The music is soft enough so you can carry a conversation without having to shout.
