Fresh ingredients & great selection. I was missing So. Cal. Mexican food until I found Kaliente which is much better. Everything on the menu is so good that our family likes to split several dishes so we can enjoy them all. The ingredients are fresh, high quality, the flavor combinations unique and superb! Our favorites are the plantanos, pupusas (very fresh & hearty), Taco Salad: roasted vegetables, large, fresh & hearty, the Tropical Salad: shrimp, mango, papaya, coconut and a cilantro dressing that brings all the flavors together marvelously. I was surprised by how well all these flavors melded - fabulous!

Delicious!. I was hesistant to try "Salvadorian" food but once I was there the wonderful staff was more than happy to explain cusine and make recommendations. Once I received my meal, it tasted wonderful. The atmosphere is really nice too. I would definetly recommend to anyone looking for a new experience.
