Editorial Review for RoHan Lounge – by Daniel Liszt
In Short
Thin bamboo rods and quirky, original artwork line the walls of this small hideout. Attractive college coeds mingle on a continuous red banquette snaking the left side of the space, while 20- and 30-something locals sit at the under-lit bar. The bar's back shelf is also aglow, highlighting various sojus (rice wine) which are mixed with fruit juices to produce specialty cocktails like the mojito-inspired Ginju.

We went to RoHan Lounge the night before 4th of July, and we had a great time. The ambience is cool. We had a large group of 8 people and the one bartender and one waitress were nice, prompt and best of all the food is good and cheap! The crispy tofu was cooked perfectly and not oily. The vegetable dumplings were a little overdone, but the beef was also terrific. Overall, we were very happy and wish it was closer to where we live!
Pros: food is tasty for a great price
Cons: location

I've been to Rohan a dozen or so times now, and I've come away happy every time. The drinks here are all made with Soju, which gives familiar drinks (Cosmos, Mojitos, etc) a twist. I'm especially a fan of the White Tiger, a yummy and subtle cocktail. The food here is pretty great, too. It's a little pricy, but the dishes are all easy to share and quite delicious. The baked apple dessert is to die for! The service is ok, not great on crowded nights but pretty attentive on weekdays. Even on busy nights, we've never felt rushed. Definitely make reservations on a Friday or Saturday, but the rest of the week, you can walk in and be almost guaranteed a seat. Love it!
Pros: Great drinks, delicious desserts
Cons: A little pricy, very crowded and loud on weekends
