Antique lamps spread a dim light over shiny, wood-paneled walls and round tables. There's a fireplace, pool table and six dart lanes in the back. Classical and jazz music plays over the loudspeakers; on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, there's free live music. Cheese plates and inexpensive, unlimited popcorn are available. It's more a place for good conversation than drunken revelry.

Great beers on tap and imported bottles. There is always a large and delicious selection and variety. I am always entertained there as well between pool tables, darts and my favorite childhood games. It's always a fun time at Albatross

I really enjoy this little bar. It is chock full of fun things to do. I love being able to go check out a board game and sit and relax with my friends.

That's what this is. Several kinds of decent beer flow freely from its taps, and there are popcorn baskets for the tables and board games for your amusement. The clientele is made up of mostly graduate students and young professionals. It makes a great place to relax with your friends after a frustrating day of teaching, or to celebrate the completion of that giant paper. Not incredibly cruisy, although I suppose it would work for meeting people.
