Probably the best restaurant in the North Bay! My husband and I discovered this gem by accident looking for some quick Italian food. This place is amazing!! The food is delicious - the butternut squash ravioli are great, but the BEST are the pear and ricotta ravioli. Imaginative chef - who would have thought to pair the two?! The desserts are GREAT. Their wine list is extensive, and mostly Italian. The wait staff is knowledgeable, friendly and super helpful. We asked for help choosing a wine and the waiter was spot on! the next time we went, a second waitress recommended another bottle that was actually less expensive than the first one - and it was equally as great. How often do servers suggest lowering a bar bill!? We have made reservations through OpenTable every time we go and are always seated right away. The bar is always crowded, so if you go for a "before-dinner" drink, wear comfy shoes, you'll be standing. Their cocktails are also out of this world. If you write in the "preferences" box on OpenTable, the hostess will make sure you are seated where you ask - in a booth vs table or outside vs inside. The place is always packed, even at 10:00 at night. They have valet service, but street parking is usually easy to find within a couple of blocks. Our favorite place to go, and I recommend it to all my North Bay friends. I'll be bringing out out-of-town guests there this week! Great value - an appetizer, 2 salads, a pasta and a chicken entree, dessert and bottle of wine is usually about $100 without tip.

Pros: Fabulous food, ambiance and service. Also a great bargain!

Cons: None

A fun place to go out for great Italian food with local flair at a good price. My favorite is the butternut squash ravioli. There's lots of activity in the restaurant/bar. A bit of an older scene (40+) but, hey, it's Mill Valley and better than staying home on a weekend night or making the trek into the city. I always recommend it to out-of-town friends and they all have loved it !!!
