Books, books, books.... Builders is great for true architecture fans or buying a coffee table book as a gift (or to make yourself look cool). They have a pretty good selection of architecture, design and planning books. Also magazines if you are so inclined. One thing that impresses me is their willingness to carry foreign books. Granted the majority of people who buy these are just going to be looking at pictures, but still. If you need something to give you ideas for your remodeling project, this is the place.

packed with good information. One of the most valuable stores on Fourth Street - colorful, inviting and packed with goodies and information. In addition to thousands of books, they rent videos, have computers set up with CAD and estimating programs to try out plus they offer free educational events and much more.
