Breakfast heaven. If you don't mind schlepping over to Fourth Ave in Berkeley, this is the place to go for breakfast on weekends. Order the Farmer's breakfast - you won't be disappointed.

Diner with gourmet food. Bettis Diner on Fourth Street, Berkeley has the best breakfast and lunch. They have taken the diner cuisine to new heights. All food is fresh, fast and perfectly cooked in an atmosphere that hip and cool and accessible to all age groups.

A Decadent Beginning to the Day. The souffle pancakes are reason enough to wait for a table, then wait another forty minutes for breakfast. Rich, yet light and fluffy, it's not like any pancake I've ever had anywhere else. The berry-filled and chocolate-chip pancake are equally good. The savory breakfast fareomelets, hash browns, and the likeare well made and very tasty, but for my money nothing comes close to those sweet pancakes.
