Total makeover. Three months with the new frames, and I still get minimum three compliments a day from strangers on BART, staff at John Varvatos, in meetings, colleagues, waitresses, people just crossing the street .... my prescription is super strong, but the lenses were crafted precisely - no adjustment/re-order required. Personal service. Piece of cake. Love it.

Do NOT go to DeVisu... Hassle to the MAX!. BUYER BEWARE!!! I wish I had read Yelp or CitySearch first.

While I was very impressed with the fashionable eyewear choices, the Sales person/ owner was very aggressive when it came time to "close the sale". BEWARE! Do not give this shop any money unless you are 1000% sure this is the only place you can find the brand of eye frames. The claim is that you can't find these frames anywhere else because they are high-end designer... truth is they are available elsewhere at comparable prices.

They do NOT take your VSP insurance (you have to file for reimbursement yourself) and the amount of VSP reimbursement is way less than the amount DeVisu quotes.... DON'T Believe them.

MY ADVICE IS TRY TO FIND A REPUTABLE OPTICIAN WHO IS A VSP PROVIDER WHO CARRIES THE BRAND YOU WANT.

When I tried to see if there was any way the non- VSP reimbursement rate could be dealt with or if they would cancel my order and credit my account, I was treated extremely rudely and told that was my problem and I should have known before I gave them my credit card for the glasses. I had not even given them my prescription (all they had was their own order form that they were holding), so reaching some accommodation would have been possible if they had wanted. Hell would freeze over before this shop would give you satisfaction on anything. The cute-factor in eye glasses is just not worth the hassle that you get at this shop.

I do not have my glasses yet and, based on my experience so far, I am not real confident that I will get them.

I have bought used cars and had a more pleasant experience.

I cannot warn others strongly enough.... DON"T go to DeVisu!!!"
