Love it!. I totally disagree with people saying that they have small portions (really, how much larger are they expecting their roles to be? It is sushi, not a burrito!!).

The food is tasty and inexpensive. It's sad that people judge them from maybe one unique experience. I have been consistently eating there at least once a week, and every other weekend for almost a year and have no complaints and it is absolutely worth the 20 minutes drive to get there.

The manager, Carole is a sweetheart, the chefs very friendly.

They are very accepting and appreciate positive and constructive criticism.

inexpensive sushi, but if eating there expect slow service!. The sushi is very cheap and i like to go here often. The waitress who normally works there is so nice, but when it gets busy she gets really stressed out and tends to serve the wrong tables first. Last time i was there it took about 1.5 hours to get my food and leave..to bring the food it took the longest. It is a good place to go if they aren't busy. Its also very loud if its busy since the tables are very close to one another. Once i was there when a homeless man came in and went up to a table and started picking up peoples food. The owners and people who worked there were too shy to tell him to leave, and he smelt very bad. it ruined my meal to have a man smelling like urine walking around and touching peoples food, not to mention swearing and saying bad things to a child. I was almost offended that the staff would not tell him to leave, or would not even replace or say sorry to the table whose food got touched. very odd situation! besides that its been good. my favorite place is Man Puku on college avenue. Also cheap, and very good! best for to go.

The go-to spot for sushi on a budget. Note: I've never dined in, so can't comment on the service. What follows is a review of the food itself.

Too many people I know have dismissed this place because it looks and is cheap. Don't let Party Sushi's low prices and kitsch decor deceive you. The fish here is top quality--fresh and delicious. And in the end, this is the most important factor for making excellent sushi, especially nigiri. The dizzying selection of rolls range from standard to bizarre (pickles and jalapeno; eel and strawberry; tuna and mozzarella), and heavily features cream cheese, avocado, and mayo (make sure to specify if you don't want mayo in your roll). There's so much variety that you should be able to find a roll that matches your palate. The flower roll (fresh salmon, avocado, tuna, tobiko) is superb and is a meal in and of itself. Despite the high quality of the food, the prices are well below the sushi average. So, if you are a discriminating sushi fanatic with a thin wallet, Party Sushi is where the party's at.

Yummy!. I love party sushi. The sushi is very inexpensive and still tasty. Only downside is that the service will not always be the best.. they are a very little restuarunt but always delicious!

Crap. We came in with a larger party, ordered and ended up waiting almost an hour before we asked a server about our food. Turns out they forgot to place our order and gave us the biggest hassle over it. Terrible service, it's not worth the cheap food to go.

Awesome deal on Yummy Sushi!. If you're on a tight budget but craving sushi...this is definitely the place to go! Although obviously not as tasty as all the other highly rated sushi restaurants, very very well worth it for the price that you pay. We ordered 5 rolls and a beer and it came out to less than $25 plus tip!! Try the Berkeley Dynamite rolls!!! But beware of the cheesy and tacky decor....just think about how cheap you're going to be paying for your dinner!
