Wonderful Pizza. They use fresh ingredients to make a great pizza. I don't even realize that it's vegetarian pizza place until like the fifth time I came back. It's just a refreshing place to go for a delicious pizza.

Best thin crust in Berkeley. Today's pie: Roma/Toasted Garlic - mozzarella, red onions, roma tomatoes, toasted fresh garlic, parmesan-grana padano cheeses, olive oil, parsley

This is now my favorite cheeseboard pizza! Went here today, usual line and crew entertaining. Pizza is the best... and the little tail is an extra bonus! Though I must say, mine was a little smaller than usual today.

Excellent pizza. They make one kind of pizza each day and it is always terrific. The associated cheese shop next door is what usually draws me there, but it's hard to resist the pizza when you go by.

The hours are limited, so you have to make sure you hit them while they are open.

Best Pizza on Earth. From the first to the last bite, cheeseboard pizza stands in a league all by itself. My favorite is anything with corn in it, however, every topping is pleasing to the palatte.

Who Are We Kidding?. This pizza is JUST OK. Most of the time the pizza du jour has large chunks of onion in the sauce which makes this pizza stink, literally -- it smells unappetizing. And the combinations are normally dreaful. Then you have to line up to get the pizza like in the army. The locals are hanging out all over the place eating the pizza thinking this is a cool thing to do since the shop is a socialist co-op. This is not a good pizza folks. You are fooling yourselves.

Pizza WOULD be great. if once, just once, you could taste something besides garlic. Every pizza has garlic galore. Now I love garlic, but this is getting OLD.

You know, for 1 of those tiny places.... ...they sure do bang out a bunchapizzas! And they're delicious. Potential customers should be aware though that there's limited seating, there are line ups out the door for people wanting to take a pizza home. There's music believe it or not, good music - several nights a week, talented people working for tips - even if you don't eat pizza - GO FOR THE MUSIC - and warm and friendly people!

Eatsa' da' pizza! Mama mia!. The Cheeseboard has ruined me for other pizza.

The pizza (ONE KIND per day) changes daily is always excellent and their inspired combinations certainly do not make you wish for any more or less. Ingredients are simple, vegetarian, beautiful and thoroughly satisfying.

The crust is perfectly thin and crunchy with a sumptuous bath of fruity olive oil once out of the oven.

They tend to run out early so get yours well before closing time!

Just so you don't have the wrong idea - this isn't so much a dine-in place as a take-out place w/ a few tables, a piano and an everpresent line.

viva berkeley. These guys know how to run an establishment. The lines run out the door at lunch and the food is excellent. The people who work there seem to like the job and the people who patronize the joint. I have even seen them giving homeless people the royal treatment. A true class act!

It's a worker co-op too. In addition to having the best pizza in the East Bay, Cheeseboard Pizza is also a successful worker co-operative. The Deli and Pizza locations are both wholly owned and operated by the workers, with the majority of executive decisions coming from regular "council" meetings. The Pizza place is actually a subsidiary of the Deli, but it has the option of forming a separate co-op at any time. If you've ever wondered why they have such strange hours, it's because that's what the workers chose!
