Burgers -- of both the all-beef and meatless variety -- are the name of the game at this highly-trafficked neighborhood eatery. Plain interiors with walls proudly decked in local dining awards take a backseat to huge flame-broiled patties. Destination-themed sandwiches, like the Milano with roasted eggplant, zucchini and tomato pesto sauce and the Baja chicken with avocado, bacon and salsa, are served a la carte. Side orders include deep-fried veggies and steak-cut fries.

Barneys used to be a great place for burgers. The last few times we have been, they have seriously under cooked our burgers (except for tonight, when they were overdone). Tonight, they also go our order wrong, and did not want to correct their mistake. They got my bill wrong, and brought it to me wrong two times (I finally paid the amount they wanted). The shake arrived after we had finished everything else, and was very lumpy (I also had to ask several times to get it). What is worst, no one on staff seemed to care at all about these mistakes, or even apologized for any of the problems. Needless to say, I won't be going back.
