Never again!!!. I found this place to be a very uncomfortable dining experience. Low class atmosphere, carpet smells moldy, sinking building and etc. The food was very good but the portion was very small. The two Thai waitress were very friendly. I went here on Friday night. It was very busy but there were only two waitress working and running around.(I actually felt sorry for them, cause they worked very hard.) besides I had to wait a long time to get my water refill. Do not go here on weekend if you want good food and service. Never again!!!

Greatest Place to Eat on Solano Ave.. WOW!!! This place was amazing. I came here with my family on my dad's birthday off a recommendation from a friend. I was a little skeptical at first because it seemed like kind of a small place to have that many people. I couldn't have been proven more wrong. The food was outstanding. There is a cajun chicken pasta that is plain and simply the best pasta dish ever. A little spicy for some but I loved it.

The wait staff is probably the most friendly I've ever seen before, showering their customers with hugs as they left the building. The waitress was always smiling even though our party was huge, loud, and very obnoxious (thanks to my uncles who don't know how to act in public). She was very curteous and sweet even though we were obviously the most rowdy people in her building. Hats off to her for the amazing service. Everyone here seems to be a regular and I know why after dining here once.

You would think that with that kind of service and great food that it would cost you an arm and a leg. Simply untrue here. Most dishes are very inexpensive. Portions are good sized and the food is just fantastic.

Definitely worth going to if you are in the mood for friendly service and great food at an amazingly affordable price.

Great Neighborhood Restaurant!. Everything here is fantastic! The food is delicious and the seafood is FRESH! The waitress was friendly, cheerful, and was always smiling. It is a great place to go out to dine or to get a great meal before or after the movie (the Albany Theater is a block away). I highly recommend to anyone who want to take their family out or go out with some friends...or just go out alone. And best of all..the prices is very reasonable and the portions were just right. My boyfriend loved the Cajun Chicken Pasta and I had a wonderful Seabass. The Seabass was very moist and flavorful. We also try an exotic item too...escargots! I was pleasantly surprised how delicious it tasted. But my boyfriend prefer his appetizer calamari fingers (which were also delicious too). I would definitely be coming back!

Disappointing. It was raining, cold and dreary. Clam chowder seemed like the perfect thing for a day like that. Driving around Solano we found it, Cape Cod. Perfect! The minute we walked in this establishment, we knew we had been had. From the outside, one may think that this was a restaurant scooped out of Maine's landscape and dropped right here in the East Bay. Not the same when you walk in.

Despite the friendly Thai wait staff, the food was mediocre at best. The clam chowder resembled flour and water thickened with some potatoes and a hint of fish stock more than actual chowder. The crabcakes, appeared to be frozen imitation crabmeat product. I ordered the garlic shrimp, which was okay but definitely not fresh.

If you want an "enh" meal at average prices, this is it. The crowd was on the older side, which explains it best I guess.

Hidden wonder on Solano!. At Cape Cod, nothing's quite what it seems, the food is true fusion! The Thai chef here makes seafood with a french twist! It's a culinary marvel with an inauspicious appearance and the strangest atmosphere anywhere in the Bay! Great early bird specials make this a favorite with Seniors, who've been keeping this place a secret for far too long! The waitstaff even hug you as you leave! It's like nothing else on earth! Funky!
