Small-town bistro starts the day with scrambled eggs and ends the evening with prix-fixe Cal-French..
In Short
A neighborhood restaurant where the locals gather to enjoy the frequently changing menus and the welcoming French-country decor, Kensington Bistro morphs from a classic daily brunch menu with twists to the "Post Meridian" at night, when a French-trained chef focuses on the wine list and creates a California-French menu fit for vegetarians and carnivores alike. Both incarnations keep the offerings fresh--and the neighbors coming back.

Homey Neighborhood Bistro in the hills!.
This pleasant eatery has a warm welcoming ambience and is great for families or a romantic tête-à-tête. The food is excellent, and would please demanding gourmets, but there's also a great smaller portions menu, with pared down plates and healthy and less spicy food for kids and seniors. This place is everything a neighborhood bistro should be; pleasant, warm, welcoming and homey. A typical night has a mixture of families in the main room and couples grouped at romantically lit tables. Single folk dining alone never feel out of place here, there's a counter in the front room, and plenty of tables perfect for one.
