Great place for a show!.
Last night (Friday) was my first time to the Plough.
After sampling their two choices of Cabernet, it was all too tart and I went with beer. Still, it was cool that the bartender let me sample them.
The place is super cute, and the selection of beer is extensive.I don't know if I'd hang out here for happy hour, but the acoustics were great for my friend's band...and you could see the stage from almost everywhere in the bar.

The Angry "Chef".
Since I like my pizza, burgers, and fries cooked (not raw and/or frozen in the middle) I've decided to never eat at this place again. The angry cook is quick to take your cash, though. And when you bring it back because it is nasty-tasting, he's not so quick to return it. Seriously - this food is not edible, do don't arrive with an empty stomach.

no pretentiousness here.
Safe bet for a good time. Good live entertainment.

amusement and delight.
I enjoyed the performers but I didn't really understand the service. A valet would be nice. Nevertheless, my overall experience could be described as amusement and a certain level of delight.

dirty dingy dive.
The place has the great character of a dive bar, but lacks the necessary cast to pull it off completely.
