mooo...... that's what they make you feel like at this overrated, super-expensive spa. i've been here twice in the last year and both times i've been shuffled around like cattle from a facial to a late massage appt. i gave it a chance, living in the east bay it would have been nice, but i can't waste any more time, energy, or money on this place! the massage therapists seem very inexperienced and are very focused on time rather than relaxation.

Great Massage. The massages here are to die for, but when it comes to the price of relaxation, be ready to pay for it.

Pure Indulgence!. The location is gorgeous to begin with and just screams tranquility. My bfriend and I came here for a relaxing/romantic day for just the two of us and we were disappointed we didn't make a weekend of it. We got a massage together and really induldged. Next time we'll do it right and stay the weekend!!!

Beautiful. This is a fantastic experience. A friend of mine had her very low key bachelorette gathering here and the Claremont Spa made it absolutely wonderful!

Girls Gotta Have It. I spent the day at the claremont, longing aroung and going from treatment to treatment. I cannot wait to go back. Staff was friendly and professional but prices were high. Facilities were great. Next time I paln to spend the day with a friend.

Spa Day Bliss. I spent the day at Spa Claremont with my mom during her last visit. We both had a fabulous time and made return appointments before we left. I tried the Head to Toe package and flet like a new girl when I left.

Best part, the new restaurant Paragon. Great drinks, food and views of the city. I highly recommend to all the spa lovers in the Bay Area!

Spa Girl in Heaven!!. I have been to many spas, including the Napa Valley, Hawaii, San Francisco, and East Bays, and by far, the Claremont is one of the best I've been to. I went with a group of friends for a girl's day at the spa and had a wonderful time! The spa facilities were clean, the staff was friendly, and I had one of the best massages I've had in a while. I could've spent all day there! Will definitely be back again soon! Well worth the money!!

I'm Still Aching. 4 women, 4 1-hour massages. We were scheduled for 1 hour before closing. We were all there and ready by 6, my massage started about 15 minutes late and I was the first of us to get called for my service. The massage was over well before 7. The massuese smelled heavily of garlic (my friends later asked me if I'd been eating garlic). Within an hour of the massage, I couldn't turn my head because the massuese had screwed up my neck. After the massage, the spa staff was rude, rushing us, telling us we couldn't take a post-massage shower, refusing to refill the water containers, and repeatedly telling us our services didn't include a tip so we should make sure we left one. I've been to many spas and had many massages and this was quite possibly the worst spa/massage experience I've ever had.
